At Digidentity, we're always looking for ways to improve the user experience and make the registration process as smooth as possible. That’s why we’re introducing a new, clearer error message for users undergoing identity verification on mobile devices.
Starting now, if a user attempts to verify their identity using an unsupported mobile device, they will receive a direct and easy-to-understand error message:
“This device is not supported. Please try a different device.”
This update ensures that users are immediately aware of any compatibility issues, allowing them to switch devices and continue their verification process without confusion or frustration.
Please see below for examples
We understand how important it is to provide transparency during identity verification. Previously, users encountering compatibility issues might not have understood why they couldn’t proceed. With this new update, we are making it clear: if a device is not supported, users will know right away and can take the necessary steps to continue their registration smoothly.
This change affects all users who go through the identity verification process as part of their registration for Dig Identity’s products and services. Whether you're signing up for the first time or updating your information, this new message ensures that you have the clarity needed to complete your verification seamlessly.
No new improvements this week, but we’re always working on enhancing your experience on our platform.
No new bug fixes yet, but rest assured, we are constantly monitoring and improving the platform to provide you with the best service possible.
From the end of March, the Digidentity Wallet will no longer support Android version 9 because there are no more security updates for this version. We want to ensure the best security and optimal privacy and therefore encourage all our customers who use Android version 9 to upgrade their mobile devices before 28 March 2025.
The minimum required Android version for the Digidentity Wallet will be raised to Android version 10.
