We are pleased to announce that all references to the term smart card have been removed from the Digidentity app for product and service registrations.
This feature applies to both existing and new users. Instead of creating a smart card, all users will now be prompted to enter a PIN code to secure their account.
In the previous term, smart cards often led to confusion during registration. Replacing it with Enter a pin code makes the process clearer and more user-friendly.

A fix has been deployed to address the missing date of birth information in ID documents. If the date of birth is absent, the system will now auto-fill a prefix date, such as 01-07, allowing users to complete their registration without rejection.
